You are absolutely correct. All these regional languages of Pakistan are so enriched in culture and poetry. All our saint poets , Bhulllay shah, baba Farid,Abdul lat if bhittai , Sachal sarmast,Rahman baba and many others have wonderful Rhymes which are so solacing spiritually too.
Rahman baba is like Saadi and Raazi to Pashto language. My late father used to quote his verses so frequently matching every drastic and lovely occasion. So was Khushal Khan Khattak who had Razmia Poetry to incite the valour . That is a good combination of Urdu and Pashto song for Rahim Shah.

Arabic,Persian,English,Urdu all have good poetry and are rich languages.
A must language for those living in Pakistan,Afghanistan and India is
Pushto.It is so beutiful that if you miss the poetry of Rahman Baba and
the songs of Nashanas,then you missed evrything.And it is not difficult to
learn as is the common perception.People have tried to simplify it for non
Pushto speaker.
For example it is easy to follow ehn Rahim Shah sings:
O ghanam Rangi ,,, Pagal huwa hoon main latchi lawagi,,,,Faryad meri sun..
Ghanam means Gandam in Urdu.And if you still can't remeber then just say:
Sanwli Saloni see Mahbooba..
